Turn what you no longer use into
someone's fresh start.

A house nobody in the family wants. A car in the driveway. A boat, a plane, a lifetime collection. You should not have to spend a year chasing buyers, paying storage and slip fees and filling out paperwork to do something good with it. Give it to us and we do that work for you — anywhere in the United States, free of charge to you.

What you get

Keep the full value. Skip the years of hassle.

People hold enormous value in things they have stopped using, and selling any of it is work. We do the work instead: we collect it, handle the titles and the paperwork, place what can be used directly and sell the rest. You take a legitimate deduction. Someone who needed help gets it.

Once you call, it stops being your problem

You do not have to find a buyer, fix anything up first, keep paying storage, taxes or slip fees, or field one more call about a repair. One conversation starts it, and we arrange the towing, pickup or title transfer at our cost — wherever it happens to sit in the country.

Your deduction, documented properly the first time

You give to a nationwide 501(c)(3), so your gift is deductible to the extent the law allows, and long-held appreciated property can avoid the capital gains a sale would trigger. We prepare and send the receipts and forms you need at tax time.

You will know what your gift actually did

Where something can serve directly it does: a working car for someone with a job and no way to reach it, computers for a classroom, furniture for a family with an empty apartment. What has to be sold funds rent, treatment, shelter and repairs.

Find the right home for whatever you're ready to let go of.

Some donations carry enough complexity to deserve a site of their own — titles, logistics and valuation handled in real depth. Every one of them reaches the same team, and you never need to visit them to donate.

How it goes

Three steps on your side. We carry the rest.

STEP 01

Tell us what you have

Call or send the form on any site in the network. Describe it plainly — condition, location, whatever you know. If it is not something we should take, we will say so quickly rather than waste your time.

STEP 02

Sign, and stop worrying about it

We prepare the transfer, order what needs ordering, and schedule collection or towing at our cost. You do not clean it out, fix it up or meet a buyer. Most donations close in weeks.

STEP 03

Keep the receipt, claim the deduction

Your acknowledgement letter and IRS forms arrive documented and on time. For gifts you intend to claim above $5,000 the IRS requires an independent appraisal, which is the donor's responsibility — we will tell you that before you commit, not after.

Two things we cannot cover, stated plainly: appraisals for gifts valued above $5,000, and shipping on small items. Everything else is on us.

Where the value goes

See exactly what your gift pays for.

Chosen because they are where a modest amount of money changes an outcome rather than merely softening it. We also share funding, equipment and supplies with other 501(c)(3) organizations doing work we cannot do ourselves.

Housing & shelter

Transitional housing and emergency shelter for families with nowhere else to go.

Direct family relief

Rent, utilities, a funeral, a car repair — the bill that turns one bad month into a crisis.

Medical assistance

Treatment costs, travel to hospital, and the expenses no household budget anticipates.

Children & youth

After-school and summer programs for kids whose families cannot cover them.

Education & the arts

Equipment, materials and access for schools, libraries and community programs.

Animal welfare & wildlife

Rescue, shelter and rehabilitation work that is chronically underfunded.

Urgent transportation

Getting people to work, to treatment, or away from a situation they need to leave.

Veterans & global partners

Adaptive housing, mobility equipment and vocational support, plus supplies shared with partner charities here and abroad.

Talk to a real person before you decide anything.

Plenty of people ask us questions and decide not to go ahead. That is a perfectly good outcome. There are no follow-up campaigns and no upgrade calls — so if you have something and you are not sure whether it counts, just ask.
